Harry Kane at the age of 21 has begun to take in the majority of the attacking responsibilities of Tottenham Hotspur as the young player has made 22 league appearances and scored 14 goals for his club which is the highest amount of goals scored for any player of Tottenham.

For such a young player this could be just too much of a burden for the English attacker to take in and Mauricio Pochettino believes that his shining star will need help to handle all of this pressure.

The manager of Tottenham Hotspur, Mauricio Pochettino told reporters: "Harry Kane scores goals and the focus is on him at the moment, but it's important now to try to help him and manage this pressure in the best way. He needs to be free and feel fresh and need to help him so he doesn't feel too much the pressure.’’

Neither Roberto Soldado nor Emmanuel Adebayor have been able to satisfy the attacking needs of Tottenham Hotspur and this is why so much of the responsibilities and pressure is starting to be constructed in the player who has an entire career ahead of him and still is fairly inexperienced.

Mauricio Pochettino has given a chance for the younger players of Tottenham Hotspur to step it up and establish themselves as key figures for his team. Christian Eriksen at the age of 23 has turned into one of those key figures as the attacking midfielder has scored 9 goals in 26 appearances which is the 2nd highest amount in the English club.

Eriksen said that even though he is young and one of the main goal-scoring outlets of Tottenham Hotspur, the pressure that this brings is not something that bothers him in any way.

"I always had pressure, so I think I've learned to live with it. Of course, every player has a different style of play, has a different talent, so people look differently at you. But from the position I played, you need to have a bit of pressure, and I've always been used to it.’’ Christian Eriksen said as he stated that being under pressure is something that he has grown accustomed to.

Christian Eriksen is one of the players of Tottenham Hotspur that can alleviate the pressure and burden of scoring goals off of Harry Kane. This is good news for Mauricio Pochettino as the Argentine coach does not have to rely solely on one player to score goals for his team.
