Tottenham Hotspur sustained a 0-1 defeat in their opening match of the Premier League season as the team of Mauricio Pochettino faced off with Manchester United in Old Trafford and an own goal from the 25 year old defender Kyle Walker allowed the home team on winning the game as Manchester United came out on top with the victory as they snatched all 3 points but this result was a wake-up call for Mauricio Pochettino as the Argentine manager is now interested in signing a few more players before the summer transfer window reaches it’s end in September.

Even though Tottenham Hotspur lost this match, they actually had the upper hand for the majority of the game as the players of Mauricio Pochettino had a number of chances of scoring but failed on finding the back of the net and now the manager is believed to be searching around the transfer market for possible players that can increase the quality of the attacking department of his squad.

One of the players in the wish-list of Mauricio Pochettino is Lyon’s Clinton N’Jie who has a price tag of around €11 million. Clinton N’Jie is a 21 year old Cameroonian attacker capable of playing either as a striker or a winger.

Saido Berahino of West Bromwich Albion is another player who is being closely monitored by Mauricio Pochettino but there is a slight problem involving Berahino and it’s the fact that Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be offering €15 million but West Bromwich Albion will only sell him for a substantially higher amount.

Manchester City is also interested in signing Berahino and they have a larger transfer budget which could make things even more difficult for Pochettino in his journey of luring Berahino to White Hart Lane.

Javier Hernandez of Manchester United is the other attacking player who was rumored of being signed by Mauricio Pochettino but the Argentine denied those rumors as he stated that hes not interested in signing the Mexican forward.
