Since Andre Villas-Boas was in charge of Tottenham, the playing time of Emmanuel Adebayor was severely limited as he spent more time on the sidelines than on the playing field and during the few moments he was indeed on the pitch with the main squad of Tottenha, his performances left more to be desired.

His spell with Tottenham is now more enjoyable as Tim Sherwood seems to have given him a light of hope. The new role that Tim Sherwood has in the club was good news for the Togelese forward who is now starting to perform like the days back where he played in Arsenal.

Adebayor was on the verge of leaving Tottenham some years ago when he was just too frustrated by the plans of Villas-Boas. Sherwood considers Adebayor to be a great player and has already promised the player on giving him plenty of time on the pitch but the rumors still continue on emerging involving the exit of Adebayor from the club.
Al Ain is one of the clubs interested in signing the former Arsenal player as well as some other from the Premier League but no official bids or approaches have been made concerning the future of Adebayor.

The 23 years old player of Tottenham, Danny Rose who currently is out on loan at Sunderland spoke about the change that Adebayor and Sherwood have made for the club.
"No disrespect to Andre but playing one up front has been a bit frustrating and hard for Soldado at times. He has been like a new signing. He has scored four goals in his last five games, which is brilliant for us. Considering he didn't play a game from pre-season until a few weeks ago, his energy levels have actually been brilliant’’.

"There were no questions about his attitude during his first season under Harry Redknapp and I can't speak for last season because I wasn't here. When I came back pre-season, his attitude was fine. Obviously there was a bit of a disagreement between him and Andre but it is finished now and we are all grateful he is back in the team."
