France international Georges Kevin Nkoudou is set to make a move to Spurs following a £11 million deal going through, Guardian reports.

The report say the French player is set to travel to the London based club for medicals. The move is believed would be made public officially in a couple of days as the club gets serious with the pre season plans.

Mauricio Pochettino adds the under 21 star after signing Holland striker Vincent Janssen last week. The coach, who led Spurs close to winning the English Premier League title in the last campaign, has his eyes set on other young players as his team resumes the dream to eventually win the English Premier League.

The coach considered acquiring Lille play maker Sofiane Boufal but he was priced £20 million and down with knee injury. Pochettino decided to leave the Arsenal and Chelsea to continue the chance for the player and he signed Nkoudou instead.

Marseille made a huge bargain on the player as they signed the player from Nantes for £1 million in the last campaign. The player impressed at the Stade Velodrome scoring 10 goals in all competitions West Ham, Manchester United and Liverpool were named to be interested in the player. Hamburg, Bournemouth and Sevilla were believed to have even gone one step ahead to register their interests officially but Marseille opted to give Spurs the permission to begin negotiations with the player. Nkoudou is reported to have agreed to the five year contract from the club.

Marseille are set to take Cameroon forward Clinton Njie on loan from Tottenham despite spending just a year at Lyon. This deal would be happening differently and no report linked Marseille to picking Spurs because they wanted a player in return.
