Tottenham Hotspur have moved a step closer to the round of 16 in the Europa League after the big win over their hosts, Wolfsberger AC of Austria. The two teams met in Budapest, the Hungary capital for the first leg of their round of 32 clash. Tottenham Hotspur benefited from an excellent first half showing to take a giant step towards securing a place in the last 16 of the competition.

Spurs were able to achieve the result without their talisman Harry Kane, who missed the game despite being fit. The England international skipper was rested for the game, which ended in a 4-1 win for his team.
